DevOps Engineer
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving the performance, security, and reliability of the company’s cloud-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of AWS and Azure cloud services, scripting languages, load balancing, and autoscaling.
Skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in managing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure on AWS and Azure platforms.
- Strong understanding of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Knowledge of load balancing, auto-scaling, and other cloud infrastructure services.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipeline.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- AWS and Azure certifications are a plus.
Roles and responsibilities
- Manage and maintain company’s cloud-based infrastructure on AWS and Azure platforms.
- Design, configure and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available systems.
- Implement and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure deployment, configuration management, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Configure and manage load balancers and ensure high availability of applications and services.
- Implement and maintain auto-scaling policies to optimize system performance and ensure cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Monitor system performance, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and optimize system configurations to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud infrastructure and suggest improvements to the existing systems.
